The Foundation for Research, Development and Innovation is an entity acting for the development of science, entrepreneurship, innovation and cooperation between science and business. All generated profit allocates to statutory objectives in accordance with provisions in the statute.
The intention of the Foundation is to create a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience and ideas between the scientific and business sectors. The pillars of the cooperation platform will be the scientist support center and the entrepreneur support center.
As a part of the scientist support center, he/she will receive assistance in building scientific achievements, applying for funds for research and development, protection of intellectual property, commercialization of inventions, which will ultimately lead to enabling him/her to use his/her scientific achievements in business. As a part of the entrepreneur support center, the interested will receive assistance in assessing the potential and technological needs and in acquiring staff capable of carrying out research and development works, as well as expert support in the area of investment idea evaluation, and finally support in the commercialization of developed innovative solutions based on specialist knowledge from the world of science.
The institution actively establishes and implements cooperation with the scientific and economic environment.
The goals of the Foundation are:
1) initiating and supporting innovative solutions in various areas of social life, especially in areas related to research, development and innovation
2) promoting and increasing the awareness of the use of modern technologies in the society, supporting business ventures, in particular the creation and development of small spin-in and spin-off companies
3) lifelong learning and society education in the areas of business, health protection, environmental protection, modern technologies - focused on active cooperation in the development of society
4) supporting mutual cooperation between the research and development sector and industry
5) Assistance in the development of international cooperation in the field of business and science
6) Disseminating the results of research and development works
